What is a protection mode?

 

During protection mode you cannot be attacked and you can only attack inactive Castles. Every protection lasts 72 hours. Also you can't use the option for faster loyalty gain. Protection lasts 72 hours in normal speed worlds and 48 for fast worlds.

If there is an active attack sent to you, launching a protection will not neutralize the attack. It will arrive at the scheduled time and will be processed. This means that the protection will protect you only from future attacks to your account, and not from ones that are already sent. You can activate Protection mode for free once per game round.
You have the option to activate Protection for the second time but it will costs you 200 coins. There must be at least 48 hours passed from the first protection to be able to activate the second one.
